Genie remotes can be programmed to most garage door openers.
Genie is a common brand of garage door opener system at homes around the United States. The Intellicode ACSGT systems can be synced universally to most garage doors, and allow you to program wireless remotes to control the system. You can program the remotes yourself in just minutes from your garage, as long as you have access to the motor system. Once the remote is programmed, you will be able to use it right away.
Instructions
1. Enter your garage and find the Learn button on your motor unit. This button will be located on the back or side of the unit by the light lens and the antenna wire.
2. Press and release the Learn button and wait for the LED light on the system to start flashing.
3. Press the button on your remote that you are programming three times and wait for the LED light on the system to flash.
4. Wait for the light to turn off after 30 seconds, and press the button again to test the remote and complete the programming.
