Relax On A Good Mattresses

Sleep is one of the most important ingredients to having both a healthy mind and healthy body. After all, we spend roughly 1/3 of our lives engaging in it. And what could be more important than what we actually sleep on, i.e. a mattress? Not only is the type of mattress you sleep on important, but so is the way you use it!

Instructions

Relaxing on a Good Mattress!

1. Choose the best mattress suitable for you! There are memory foam, tempurpedic, visco-elastic foam, and many, many other varieties of mattresses. Do your research and find out what works best for your needs. Consider your personal issues! Ask yourself if you get back pains or aches or if you toss and turn a lot at night. All of these factors are important in deciding on a great mattress, which would therefore lead to relaxing on a great mattress.

2. Practice good sleep posture! If you sleep in a curved posture, you run the risk of resting your spinal cord in a bad alignment. That could lead to a lot of back pain and needless suffering. Keep your back straight while you sleep... that is the #1 rule!

3. Make sure your mattress is firm! No matter what kind of mattress you decide to use, a firm mattress is the most important factor. No matter how comfortable it might feel to sleep on a soft, squishy mattress, it simply is better for you to use a firm mattress (this will also aid you in your sleep posture).

4. Have a sound mind! Concentrate on your breathing. Breathe slowly, smoothly, and steadily. Think relaxing thoughts. Your body cannot relax physically unless your mind is relaxed. If you don't have a relaxed mind, you will not be able to easily relax on your mattress, and therefore, you won't be able to fall asleep!
