Fade Stretch Marks

If you have recently had a baby or lost or gained weight, you probably have stretch marks. Nobody likes them and yet for the most part they are permanent. In five to 10 years, if you're lucky, the marks will fade and you will hardly notice them. But you can also speed up that fading process using natural products.

Instructions

1. Gather the items you need. Aloe vera gel, tea tree oil and coco butter can be found in many pharmacies and health food stores.

2. Rub aloe vera gel into the areas of your body that have stretch marks -- old or new -- every morning. Apply liberally, but be sure to rub it in well. Wash the residue from your hands and go about your day. Aloe vera gel feels a bit sticky to the touch after it is rubbed into your skin, but it will soak in and dry.

The aloe vera gel helps heal the tiny scars that make up stretch marks.

3. Take a few minutes at lunchtime to go to the bathroom and apply coco butter lotion to your stretch marks. You can apply the coco butter lotion several times a day if it's convenient. Try to apply the coco butter lotion at least twice during your day regardless of your schedule.

The coco butter helps retain your skin's elasticity and prevents more stretch marks from forming. Another perk is that it leaves your skin silky soft.

4. Apply a small amount of tea tree oil to your stretch marks nightly prior to going to bed. Rub a little oil in very well. Only apply the oil at night because tea tree oil has a very strong medicinal odor.

5. Continue this treatment daily until your preferred results are achieved. This may take several weeks or months. When your stretch marks have faded, you can discontinue the treatment. Many people, however, continue to use the aloe vera and coco butter lotion for overall beautiful, soft skin.
