Stimulate The Toes To Promote Sinus Stimulation

Stimulate the Toes to Promote Sinus Stimulation

With simple reflexology or by stimulating portions of the feet and hands, you can help stimulate your sinuses to drain away mucus. Mucus can build up in our sinus, which not only is uncomfortable and painful, but can also become a perfect breeding ground for bacteria and cause a sinus infection. Using reflexology to help drain your sinuses is easy to do by a partner or loved one.

Instructions

1. Stimulate the balls and tips of the toes. The tips of the toes (on the lateral side of the toe--on the left foot, this is the right side, on the right foot, it's the left side) correspond to your sinuses, so this is the area you need to focus on.

2. Walk your thumb up the toe, rubbing as you walk, starting at the ball of the toe. Work your way upward for about 2 minutes.

3. Work on the ridge of the toes for about 2 minutes to help clear the sinuses, and then switch feet. Start walking your thumbs up the toe again for about 2 minutes.

4. Do this several times, switching feet every couple of minutes to get the best results.

5. Consider using an essential oil such as eucalyptus and ravensara as you do your reflexology. Don't rinse off the essential oils when you're done, but continue to inhale them to help your sinuses clear.
