Ayurvedic Treatment For Hair Loss

The Ayuryedic treatment works under the theory that your bones tissues and life style are responsible for the growth of your hair. This treatment implements massaging, diet and herbs into your daily routine as an effective method to regrow or maintain healthy hair. This treatment promotes the route to a healthy lifestyle not just an occasional remedy.

Massaging

Ayurvedic treatment involves scalp massaging to increase blood circulation. It is recommended to massage your scalp with vitamin E oil, which will strengthen your hair follicles. A drop of herbal serum on your scalp is an effective treatment for hair loss. Herbal serum is a herb formula designed for hair treatment that you can find in a health foods store. You can use this serum two to three nights a week in the first week to restore thinning hair and nourish your hair follicles. The serum can be rinsed out with a conditioner in the morning and applied one to two times per week after the first week. Results will be seen within a few weeks.

Diet

Your diet is an essential part of the ayurvedic treatment. White sesame seeds have an abundant amount of magnesium and calcium which promotes hair growth. Eating a handful of sesame seeds every morning will supply your body with the proper nutrients for hair growth. Wheat germ, buttermilk, yeast, whole grain, nuts, milk, soya beans are all rich in protein which promotes strong healthy hair. A cup of yogurt every morning provides a great source of yeast. Essential fatty acids such as zinc, vitamin-B complex, sulfur and vitamin C should also be added to your diet. Be sure to take your daily vitamin to maintain overall health as well as promote the health of your hair.

Herbs

Herbs can be used to disinfect your scalp, stimulate hair growth and improve the circulation of blood flow. Apple cider vinegar and sage tea can be used as a hair rinse to stimulate hair growth. Rosemary, birch, horsetail and stinging nettle can be applied to your scalp while massaging to stimulate the growth of your hair. Horsetail contains a great source of silica and can be used to maintain your hairs healthy appearance. To fight against hair loss you should use licorice extracts as a paste to massage into your scalp before going to bed. Burdock and marshmallow tea is great for the hair also. To preserve the health of your hair you should drink 1/3 cup of aloe Vera juice once a day for three months.

If you are using an over the counter hair regrowth product it is important to consult with a pharmacist or doctor to ensure that there are not any side effects when switching to ayurvedic treatment.
