Naturally Get Rid Of Bad Breath

Are you suffering from bad breath? So many people in the world have this unpleasant and embarrassing condition. There are several things that causes bad breath, but a lot of people are able to eliminate bad breath with just a few simple steps. Sometimes people have bad breath because of poor dental hygiene. Others may have bad breath due to their diet, certain medications they are taking, or because they have a dry mouth. Luckily, there are a few things that you can do to naturally get rid of bad breath.

1. Practice good dental hygiene. Be sure to brush your teeth at least twice a day with a fluoride toothpaste and don’t forget to brush your tongue and roof of your mouth too. You should also use dental floss daily (after brushing), in order to remove food that is trapped between the teeth. In addition, make sure that you rinse your mouth each day (for 30 seconds) with a fluoride mouthwash.








2. Prevent getting a dry mouth. Dry mouth happens when there is a lack of saliva in the mouth and this causes bad breath to occur. People may get a dry mouth from breathing through their mouth, drinking alcohol, not drinking enough water or taking certain medications like antidepressants, antihistamines and blood pressure medications.








3. Drink plenty of water each day. You should drink at least 6 to 8 glasses of water a day, to help get rid of bad breath. Drinking water washes away left over food particles and bacteria from your mouth.


4. Stay away from foods with a strong odor and spicy foods. Foods such as garlic and onions can leave a bad taste in your mouth for a long period of time. So, it is best not to eat them at all.


5. Eliminate tobacco products from your life. Smoking can leave an unpleasant taste in your mouth and causes you to develop bad breath. So, avoid using any type of tobacco product.


6. Add more fruits and vegetables to your diet. Eating crisp fruit and vegetables such as carrots, apples, celery and cucumbers, all help to naturally eliminate bad breath. You can also try other fruit and vegetable products, but try sticking to crisp fruit because it tends to work better at eliminating bad breath.
