Zeolite & Cancer

Zeolite has been touted as a powerful alternative medicine for cancer. However, many scientists are concerned about the safety of taking zeolite as a medicine. Most of the medical community is skeptical that zeolite has any real effect on cancer, despite the contrary claims of promotional and often spam-filled websites.

What is Zeolite?

Zeolite is a mineral found in volcanic rock. It is sold as a powder or liquid as a cancer "killer."

Zeolite as a Cancer Treatment

Many promotional websites sell zeolite, using client testimonies to back claims that zeolite guards against illness. However, most cancer patients report no changes while using zeolite.

Safety Concerns of Zeolite

Many medical professionals take a dim view of zeolite as a medicine. Some studies have even shown that certain types of zeolite can cause lung cancer. See Resources below for links to doctors who warn against taking zeolite.

Lack of Clinical Trials

The only real way to prove that zeolite treats cancer is through a clinical trial, which would use volunteers to gauge zeolite's effectiveness. However, no clinical trials have yet been done to assess zeolite's effect on cancer.

Conclusion

If you or a loved one has cancer, it is understandable that you might want to try alternative treatments such as zeolite. However, zeolite is an often expensive and even dangerous substance that is best avoided.
