What Are The Causes Of Chronic Fatigue In Young Peope

Young people and other individuals can experience debilitating fatigue that does not improve after resting. Chronic fatigue syndrome is a common and mysterious medical condition that may have many potential causes.


Blood Disorders








According to the Mayo Clinic, symptoms of chronic fatigue may result from low blood sugar levels or iron deficiency anemia.


Allergies and Immune Disorders


Patients with a history of allergies, autoimmune disorders that cause inflammation of nerve pathways and other immune system dysfunctions may develop chronic fatigue.


Infections


Chronic fatigue may be result from viral infections such as herpes infections or infections caused by the Epstein-Barr virus.


Hormones


Patients with changing levels of hormones from their adrenal, hypothalamus or pituitary glands may develop symptoms of chronic fatigue syndrome.


Other Causes


Chronic fatigue syndrome may develop due to depression or low blood pressure or it may be a side effect of medications. Patients may experience chronic fatigue if they have a tendency to faint when their blood pressure changes.
