1. Purchase Val-Clean brand denture cleaner for your Valplast dentures. 2. Soak your Valplast partial in Val-Clean for at least 10 to 15 minutes a day. It is also necessary to soak appliances overnight a minimum of three nights a week. Lastly, soaking should also occur when the appliance is not being worn to keep it hydrated.
3. Clean your Valplast appliance on a regular basis. Cleaning includes both soaking and rinsing the appliance. Using toothpaste and toothbrushes to clean Valplast partials is not recommended. Using toothpaste and brushing your appliance can make it dull as well as leave scratches.
4. Rinse your appliance after cleaning and before wearing. Rinsing is also suggested after eating snacks and meals to prevent the accumulation of food particles.
