Day Liver Cleanse

The liver removes and filters out poisons, toxins and wastes from the body. If the liver is unhealthy, it cannot perform its many important functions. By detoxifying or cleansing the liver, this large filtering organ can help the body to clean out the entire system. There are a few things you can in one day to detoxify the liver.








Fluids


Drinking water or nutrient-rich vegetable and fruit juices helps to clean the cells, tissues, muscles and organs of the body. Herbal teas are another option.


Milk Thistle


Herbs are a good way to cleanse the liver. Milk Thistle is the most recommended by herbalists. Other liver cleaners are dandelion and burdock root.


Organic Food


Eating organic food reduces the level of chemicals you digest. The liver then has less toxins it has to filter and remove.


Exercise


In one day, you can do aerobic exercises that burn lots of fat. This helps to detoxify the body, since toxins are usually stored in fat.


Fasting








Unless medical condition prevent a one-day fast, this is an excellent way to clean the liver and the rest of the body as well. No food means no toxins are entering the body.
