What Are The Symptoms Of Anxiety Attacks

Anxiety is usually a byproduct of being heavily stressed, which can lead to excessive nervousness and worrying. This can take its toll on the body. One of the biggest things it can do is cause a negative impact on your daily work, family and social life. There are some signs that can be recognized before an anxiety attack hits.

Edge

Being on the edge is a symptom of an anxiety attack. This means that you feel really tense and can lose control any second.

Fear

Fears of the unknown and of irrational things are also symptoms of an anxiety attack. An example of this would be worrying about not finding a parking place when you go to the mall.

Perfection

When you obsess about getting things done a specific way, this can be a sign of an anxiety attack. This often happens while at work.

Heart

Often times a symptom of anxiety attacks is a racing heart rate. This can happen all of a sudden when you are worrying about something.

Avoidance

Avoiding certain places or events because you think they may cause you to be anxious is also a symptom.

Tightness

One other symptom takes place in the body--you can feel a tightness or pain in your chest.
