Women who have any of the symptoms of ovarian cancer for more than a few weeks should see their doctor immediately. People used to think that this type of cancer did not give any warning signals until it was advanced. Today, this is no longer true as the symptoms have been identified.

1. Watch out for bloating, pelvic or abdominal pain, difficulty eating or feeling full quickly, and a sudden or frequent urge to urinate.


2. Having any of these problems everyday for more than two or three weeks should see a gynecologist right away. Ovarian cancer symptoms mimic many other disorders such as digestive and bladder problems.


3. Experiencing other symptoms such as persistent indigestion, gas or nausea , unexplained changes in bowel habits, including diarrhea or constipation , unexplained weight loss or gain, an lower back pain are also indicators that could be indicative of ovarian cancer.
