Keep clean.
Everybody likes making a good impression on people, whether it is the first meeting or the hundredth. Sometimes, though, you might not realize you are committing a hygiene offense unless someone points out the problem. You can avoid any hygienic errors by developing solid habits.
Instructions
1. Brush your teeth at least twice a day. It is preferable to brush after each meal, but once a day after you awaken and before bed is better than not brushing at all. Brush your tongue at the same time to keep breath fresh. Floss at least once at the end of the day.
2. Wash your face and neck every night before bed. This is especially important for teens and preteens who want to avoid acne.
3. Cover your mouth when sneezing or coughing. Turn away from people to avoid spreading germs. Use a tissue or sneeze into your cupped hands to contain the spray of germs.
4. Shower at least once a day. Everybody sweats, and your body odor may be offensive even if you can't smell it. Use an antiperspirant deodorant to control the situation.
5. Wash your hands after using the restroom so that you don't pick up and spread germs. Use a paper towel to turn off the water faucet and open the door, just in case those areas were contaminated by people who weren't as fastidious as you.
