Locate The Reflexology Diaphragm Zone

Locate the Reflexology Diaphragm Zone

Reflexology has the ability to help us relax in times of need and in times of stress. Often thoughts and reactions to unexpected news can trigger a panic attack. One of the body systems affected the most is the respiratory system. Knowing where this zone is will allow you to help calm and relax the person in need.

Instructions

1. Use the creeping technique to stimulate the diaphragm zones. These zones can be useful in helping in a panic attack and in situations where the lungs and diaphragm are involved. Asthma attacks may be helped by using these zones as well as in times of extreme stress.

2. Stimulate the top line in the palm of each hand. The creeping should be from the little finger towards the thumb. Move slowly and work both hands in succession, first one and then the other.

3. Press along the base of the ball of the foot. This is the diaphragm zone and extends from one side of the foot to the other. Press at the bottom of the ball of the foot from the outside to the inside of the foot. Move from one foot to the other foot in succession.
