What Are The Benefits Of Lime Juice In Water

Using lime juice and water is not only a natural method of treating various body ailments, it's also very inexpensive. And just drinking the mixture for its taste is an easy way to consume some extra vitamin C.


Constipation


If you suffer from constipation, drink a glass of warm water with 1/2 tsp. salt and some lime juice to loosen your bowels.


Stomach








Drink a glass of water that contains 1 tsp. of lime juice and a pinch of baking soda to soothe your stomach if you have nausea or indigestion.


Hair


When rinsing your hair after a shampoo, add 1 tsp. of lime juice to it to prevent dandruff.








Cleanse


You can do a fast by drinking lime juice mixed with water, 1 tbsp. of honey and a dash of salt to flush toxins out of your system.


Gums


Bleeding gums can be treated by gargling daily with a lime juice, water and a dash of rock salt.


Colds


Lemons and oranges aren't the only citrus fruits good for a cold. Drinking warm water with lime juice and 1 tsp. of honey relieves coughing and give you a dose of Vitamin C.
