Lose Weight for Free
Weight Watchers point list is a simple formula loosely based on information that is publicly available. By using their formula, you can create your own weight watchers point list and become your own weight watchers point calculator.
Follow these simple steps toward freedom from expensive weight loss programs.
Instructions
1. LEARN THE BASIC WEIGHT LOSS SYSTEM FORMULA.
Weight watchers is a weight loss system based on a formula. The formula is roughly as follows:
Calories/50 - (Fiber x 0.2) + (Fat x 0.08)
So a 500 calorie whatsit with 10 g of fiber and 5 g of fat looks like this:
500/50 - (10 x .2)+ (5 x .08)
Simplified:
10 - 2 + .4 = 8.4 points. That 'whatsit' better be worth it.
2. MAKE A LIST OF YOUR FAVORITE FOODS FOR YOUR WEIGHT LOSS PROGRAM.
You can create your own weight loss program this way. Take a piece of paper, or open an excel file. List all of your favorite foods in one column.
3. GET A PACKAGE FOR EACH FOOD AND BE YOUR OWN WEIGHT WATCHERS POINT CALCULATOR.
Run each food through the formula for a serving size and calculate the points. Write down the points in the column next to each food name.
4. CREATE YOUR OWN POINTS CARDS AND POINTS FOLIO.
You don't have to buy expensive weight loss programs to lose weight. Make your own material that works for you using cardstock and a cheap folder so that you can keep up with your points no matter where you are.
You just saved money while losing weight. Congratulations.
