Reduce Wrinkles & Sagging On The Face

Prevention is the best tool against wrinkles later in life.


Reduce wrinkles and sagging by preventing or at least postponing them. Do this, long term, by avoiding smoking, pollution, drug use and rapid weight loss, all of which affect your skin over time. Supplement these general guidelines with more specific steps that include exercise, creams and natural remedies.

1. Do daily exercises to tone and firm your facial muscles. Open your mouth as wide as you can and move your tongue around while doing so. Repeat 10 times. Another exercise works your eyebrows. Open your eyes real wide, raising your eyebrows. Hold that pose for a moment. Repeat this exercise 10 times.








2. Make the most of creams and lotions. Use moisturizing creams and lotions every day, experimenting until you find products that work best for your skin. Wear sunscreen when you go outdoors. Diminish age spots with creams designed for this purpose. Shrink large pores with creams that target that problem area.


3. Try herbal and homeopathic remedies as well as vitamins. Consult with a practicitioner about dandelion, which may naturally detoxify the skin. Ask how horsetail and rosemary smooth facial texture and tone the skin. Inquire about kali sulphuricum and how it might nourish your skin. Take vitamin E as it has antioxidant properties.


4. Watch your food and liquid intake. Maintain a diet rich in fresh fruits, vegetables and whole grains. Consume at least eight 8-oz. glasses of water every day.


5. Try natural solutions such as applying pure castor oil to your face. Rub a pineapple core on your face, leave on the residue for 10 to 15 minutes, then rinse off with warm water. Make a facial cream by mixing 1 tbsp. of honey with 1/2 tbsp. lemon juice, 2 tsp. plain unflavored yogurt with active cultures and the liquid from two capsules of vitamin E. Apply to your face, rinse off after a half-hour.
