Detoxify Your Lungs

Detoxifying your lungs is of great benefit for those who work in locations where they breathe in a lot of polluted air and for those who have been long-term heavy smokers. So, if you're suffering from a chronic smoker's cough or have difficulty breathing deeply and experience shortness of breath, then it could be time to detoxify your lungs. Obviously, the best thing you can do prior to detoxifying your lungs would be to totally stop smoking. Once you stop smoking, the lungs would regain their ability to heal and cleanse themselves. After that, you can detoxify your lungs with a secret combination of food supplements and special vitamins that flush out toxins. Although it appears relatively easy, smokers find it very hard to kick their habit.


Instructions








1. Add black pepper, ginger, garlic and horseradish to your diet so that the unhealthy mucus in your lungs can be broken and flushed out.


2. Add a few drops of rosemary oil to water in a humidifier. Spend 10 to 15 minutes per day breathing over a humidifier with a towel draped on top of your head, until your nose, head and lungs clear up.


3. Increase your consumption of water to over 8 glasses a day as the healthy mucus that your lungs need to clean themselves is mostly made up of water. Increased hydration not only improves the function of all of the organs, but it also helps the body to flush out accumulated toxins.


4. Exercise your lungs. Physical exercise like jogging, swimming or brisk walking will help your lungs to expand and regain that lost elasticity.


5. Spend a few minutes exercising your lungs. Inhale slowly and deeply through your nose chambers until your lungs are expanded fully and can hold no more. Now try holding your breath for about 3 to 4 seconds, then exhale forcefully through your mouth. Repeat 20 to 25 times each evening.
