Lose 20 Pounds In 6 Weeks

As the New Year fast approaches why not resolve to be 20 pounds thinner just in time for Valentine's Day? Even if you are single there is no better time than the present to commit to being a more disciplined version of yourself in the new year. The following article will provide you with simple dieting steps that will require some sacrifice but yield even greater rewards. Do something daring, REINVENT YOURSELF.

Instructions

1. Drink Eight Glasses of iced water a day. Eliminate all other liquids. This is going to get speed up your metabolism and get rid of calories you dont need.

2. Discover a 20 minute workout program such as Jillian's 30 day shred, Jackie Warner's Sky Fitness or the 10 minute Trainer. Put your on demand cable to work for you. These exercise programs are free under exercise, or buy them cheap on amazon.com.

3. Do at least one of these workouts 3 days a week, more if you want bigger and better results.

4. Combine them for fun and interest and supercharged results.

5. Learn to read lables and create a 1500 calorie a day diet comprised of lean meats (chicken, fish, eggs, tuna. oysters etc., fiber rich fruits and vegetables and healthy carbs.

6. Eliminate red meat and pork (find a new protein, trust me your waistline will thank you)

7. Write down every thing you eat and the caloric content. Use a free online service or create an excel spreadsheet to keep tabs.

8. Purchase 100 calorie snacks and share half with a friend. I suggest Newton's Fruit Crisps, sandies and occaisonal hand fulls of LIfe Cinnamon cereal.

9. Refuse to eat out, instead use the time to disover make your favorite dishes at home with less calories. The average meal at a restaurant is 1200 calories and very rarely worth it.

10. Weigh in once a week and use a graph to show your progress.

11. If you follow this formula (the water is key) expect to lose 2 to 5

pounds each week for the next 4 to 6 weeks.

I challenge you to reinvent yourself. I did.
