When a person is experiencing a TIA, he may suddenly have numbness or weakness on one side of the body. This typically lasts for just a few minutes.

During a TIA, you may have speech difficulties such as slurring or inability to express thoughts clearly.
Dizziness

Complications
Although a transient ischemic attack is a type of stroke, it does not cause any permanent damage because the blockage does not last long enough to damage any brain cells.
