It’s great to have some booty in the back, but if you’re feeling a bit too bootylicious, there are some things you can do to get your derrière into tiptop shape.
Instructions
1. Do not diet, but do eat a healthy diet. A vegan diet with very limited processed foods will keep fat stores in check and maintain overall health. Read Eat 2 Live by Dr. Joel Fuhrman to learn more about eating a diet that is rich in fruits and vegetables.
2. Perform some form of cardiovascular exercise for overall fitness. Move your body for at least 30 minutes a day. Run, walk, swim, dance or do whatever you enjoy, but get your heart pumping and work up a sweat.
3. Weight train. Weight training will help you to build muscle and increase endurance and will alter your body composition, improving your muscle: fat ratio. This will help you lose butt fat.
4. Spot train your butt. While you cannot burn fat in just one place, you can work on specific muscle groups to tone and define them. Donkey kicks, leg lifts and squats are a few examples of exercises that will challenge the muscle groups in your derriere.
5. Make staircases and hills your friend. Hiking and stair climbing will help raise your butt profile.
6. Love yourself and love your body as it is. While it is fine to endeavor to improve yourself, keep things in perspective. Focus on all the great things your body allows you to do and celebrate its amazing abilities, rather than finding ways to criticize it.
