There is a fallopian tube located on each side of your uterus. They help to take the egg released when you ovulate from your ovaries and transplant it to your womb. When these tubes become blocked and prevent the egg from getting to its destination, however, infertility can occur. If you have been diagnosed with this condition and desire to reverse the problem, there are both conventional and alternative means you can try to aid in opening your fallopian tubes.
Instructions
1. Ask your doctor about the possibility of selective tubal cannalation, which is a standard non-surgical method of treating blocked fallopian tubes. This is a good option if you want to try to avoid surgery. Your doctor puts a catheter through your womb and cervix directly into your fallopian tubes, to reverse any blockages.
2. Consider seeing a licensed, certified Ayurvedic practitioner. He may prescribe Ayurvedic medicines (traditional medicines native to India), such as Punarnava, Triphala Guggulu, Kutki and Kaishur Guggulu to help address blocked fallopian tubes. This may be an approach you prefer to take, before having to opt for surgery.
3. Try Traditional Chinese medicine. This genre of medicine has offered help for women's infertility problems for centuries, using herbs, massage and acupuncture to address concerns, such as blocked fallopian tubes. A practitioner may prescribe herbs, such as Xi Xian Cao and Yi Mu Cao, to help unblock your fallopian tubes, as well as administer acupuncture treatments.
4. Have a salpingostomy performed, if non-surgical means have been unsuccessful. This is appropriate when a blockage has occurred at the end of your fallopian tubes, due to the accumulation of too much fluid. Another opening is made near your ovary, therefore unblocking your tube. Unfortunately, the subsequent scarring, following this procedure, can cause the problem to reoccur.
5. Look into having fimbrioplasty performed. It can aid in repairing the ends of the fallopian tube that have been blocked partially and that have suffered some scar tissue damage, most especially in the area nearest to your ovaries. This kind of surgical procedure works best for younger women who have no additional fertility issues.
