Lung cancer is among the most deadly of all cancers, taking more lives every year than any other cancer. Lung cancer mostly occurs in adults over the age of 45 and is more commonly caused by smoking cigarettes or inhalation of second-hand smoke. Lung cancer symptoms include constant cough, blood in sputum, breathlessness, weight loss, fatigue and respiratory infections.
Treatments
The primary treatments for lung cancer include chemotherapy, surgery and radiation therapy.
