A way to decorate with apothecary jars.
You have several beautiful apothecary jars waiting to be displayed but you have no idea what to do with them. Apothecary jars vary in size and shape, and can be used as decoration in many places in your home. Decorating your mantle with apothecary jars can be exciting because the mantle allows the jars to be seen.
Instructions
1. Place decorative items, such as colorful Styrofoam balls, into the apothecary jars. The colorful items will make the jars stand out and attract the eye.
2. Select fruit, such as apples, lemons, limes and oranges that are not bruised or blemished. Place the fruit into different jars. For example, place red apples in one jar and place lemons in another. The colors of the fruit will make the mantle pop for an exciting decoration.
3. Place flowers in medium size apothecary jars. Pluck petals off fresh flowers and place them in the jar or cut the flower heads off stems and place them in the jar.
4. Arrange the apothecary jars on the mantle based on size; the tallest first and the shortest last. Arranging them this way, along with the colors of the fruit or flowers will make for great decoration.
