Get Good Bacteria

Good bacteria are known as microorganisms. Probiotics contain microorganisms that are a necessary part of your body's function. Bacterial illnesses occur when bad bacteria, known as pathogenic bacteria, takes charge, and there are not enough microorganisms in your system. Probiotics help maintain higher levels of microorganisms over pathogenic bacteria. Although taking probiotic supplements is believed to be beneficial, it is not a cure for any illness.

Instructions

1. Detoxify your body. Creating an environment within your body that promotes the survival of microorganisms is key. Avoid foods such as processed foods, which don't clear from your system, but instead stick to your intestinal walls. This prevents your body from supporting microorganisms and instead supports the growth of bad bacteria. Consult your physician to discuss a detoxifying diet or supplement.

2. Bring foods that contain probiotics into your daily diet. Yogurt, for example, is high in probiotics.

3. Take supplements. Daily supplements that contain vitamin K can boost your growth of microorganisms. In addition, there a are a variety of combination supplements catering directly to the cause of microorganism growth. Refer to the manufacturers' guidelines for the appropriate doses.
